Three-layer board

Halfway between solid/laminated panels and plywood are three-layer panels.

These consist of 3 layers of solid wood with alternating directions in order to improve stability and bending strength. They are usually recognized by their yellow coating, which has the function of protecting the wood to maximize the number of times they can be reused.

Uses: Mainly in the construction field for formwork.

It is one of what we can call structural wood, that is to say, it is used for the construction of structures and not so much for decorative purposes.
